Pike fishing in Sweden

WELCOME TO SWEDEN! PREPARE TO FISH IN ONE OF THE BEST LAKES IN THE COUNTRY. THE BROCHET IS THE KING OF THESE WATERS, BOTH LIMPID AND DARK.

Fishing on Foxen Lake may be simple, as opposed to technical and difficult. Foxen Lake pike are known for their aggressiveness. They do not let go, are very violent in their attacks and in the fight. Foxen is a place with large specimens where nothing should be left to chance.

The big ones are present, we know. The pike fishermen also know that you can not take anything for hours, and the second that follows, get a shot in the arm. You have to be ready to hook every moment and stay focused. That’s why I’m very strict on editing to guarantee your chances of success.

Our Swedish neighbors pay a lot of attention to their environment and their fish sanctuary. As a result, fishing opportunities are significantly improved with environments such as Foxen Lake. I can not and will not guarantee that you will fish for the fish of your life but this lake has all the potential.

However, if you want to spend good fishing moments in my company, by exchanging on fishing techniques, equipment, how to apprehend a drift … It will be a pleasure to share these moments with you.

I like to share my knowledge during fishing. So, if you want to learn new techniques, exchange about the equipment, how to apprehend a drift … I am your man.

I am committed to bringing you a maximum of knowledge and tips to make your stay unforgettable. With record catches, Foxen Lake is an unconventional pike destination, and Sweden’s best destination in this category. Each year, many pikes over one meter are caught.

Foxen Lake

Fishing on Foxen Lake is open all year, but I invite you to join me on the best times that are spring:

  • Spring (mid-April / mid-June): with a fishing on shallow areas, like reedbeds and more or less aggressive lures (big jerk / big swimbait)
  • Late summer / early fall (mid-August / late October): we will fish deeper areas with big soft lures, looking for concentration of schools of fish. The idea? Find pikes with pelagic fish behavior on these vast expanses of water.
